50th Anniversary 2020 R35 GT-R

Regarding the special edition released for the 50th Anniversary of the renowned GT-R model, Nissan said: "A legendary supercar deserves an epic celebration. From its unique competition-inspired exterior to a custom-crafted interior, the 2020 GT-R 50th Anniversary Edition proves that 5 decades in, the Nissan GT-R will still leave you breathless."

We don't disagree. However, in today's day and age of wildly powerful vehicles dominating in all manners of competition, it's hard to keep pace with the competition with just a "stock" platform. And that's where we come in.

Thanks to our partners at AMS Performance, BC Forged Wheels, Injector Dynamics, Eibach, EcuTek, and KW Suspension, this 50th Anniversary will suck the breath from your lungs whether it's ripping up some asphalt or simply standing still.

A tasteful conglomeration of modifications brings an already electric platform into another realm of performance and aesthetics. On the performance side, AMS Performance downpipes, midpipe, street intercooler, brushless fuel pump system and carbon fiber intakes, along with ID1300x2 injectors from Injector Dynamics, allow the VR38DETT to ingest and expel as much air and fuel as possible while turning that mixture into an increase of nearly 200 horsepower over factory configuration.

In addition to the engine modifications, this GT-R also features the revolutionary carbon ceramic brake package offered by AMS Performance, which delivers an astounding 62 pound reduction in rotating mass. Coupled with Pagid pads, this combination delivers not only improved stopping power over stock, but it also significantly reduces the dust and noise found in traditional brake upgrades. No more squeaking, no more fighting layers of dust during cleanup. And they look phenomenal behind the custom set of BC Forged wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires.

Picked to emulate the special edition wheels originally equipped by Nissan, the HCA384 from BC Forged is sure to set this GT-R apart from the rest. Sized in 20x10” up front and 20x12” in the rear, these wheels are the perfect fit for the chassis and allow for massive 345/30/20 tires out back while the fronts received a 285/35/20. They are finished in brushed black on the face, gloss black on the lip and barrels, and titanium hardware. Helping to keep the rubber on the road are new sway bars from Eibach and a sleeve over kit from KW, dropping the car a modest amount from factory ride height.

Tuned in house by our master calibrator and co-owner Jon, also known as Alpha, this GT-R is heading home with more than 630 wheel horsepower as measured on our dynojet and should have no problem taming any potential challengers and leaving all who encounter it breathless.
