8.81 at 157: Record Chasing A340E Monster Built
The first outing with the brand new setup on Kevin and Melina Tyminski's Toyota Supra was a major success -- consistent 8-second passes on a Precision Turbo & Engine PT7275 GEN2 Turbocharger without any assist from the laughing gas!
The owners brought us this car last year to right some wrongs done by previous shops and extract the most out of the stock engine. After a year of fun and consistent 9 second passes on the stock block, they brought it back this winter for round two consisting of our Induction Performance Stage 2 block and Stage 4 cylinder head and the aforementioned new snail from PTE. Paired with a freshened up Stage 3 A340E from Automatic Transmission Factory - ATFSPEED.COM, she was ready to rip.
Although it was not used on this track trip, the car does have nitrous and the best boost only pass of 8.81 is only a couple tenths away from the A340E record held by the amazing Baltic Supra, so stay tuned as we might have a record chase on our hands!
